Setting: 
        Set in the summer of 1977 that draws on places and historical events in India. Pondicherry is a former French colony in India. It has an Indian Coffee House and Botanical Gardens. The Botanical Garden has a toy train track. The garden does not have a zoo. It had one in the 1970s, but did not have any animals bigger than deer. The Botanical Garden has a small aquarium. Munnar, the destination for the Patel family's vacation, is a small but popular hill station in kerala. Maduray, also referenced in the novel, is a popular tourist and pilgrimage site in Tamil Nadu.

Plot:
      It was started with Pi which he was tired of someones call her "Pissing Patel", and his family was owning a zoo and Pi has took interest with the animals that's why he also seen in his two eyes how was his father trying to feed the Bengal tiger with the goat. His family raised him as an Hindu and a vegetarian person.

     his family decided that they will go to other country which is Canada so his parents try to sell the zoo. And while they are living they never noticed that there is a bad weather when they where there trip Pi was in deck of the ship and he also try to find his family until such time that the crew push him in life boat together with the zebra and orangutan.

     Pi trying to find what to eat and make his own raft just to have a distance with the tiger. And pi also give the tiger a food to eat. Weeks later they dock in the floating island where they get food and to gain strength until such time that pi discover that the place where too hostile then pi and the tiger leave the place. The boat also dock to the place of Mexico and there where person see them they being rescued and carried to the hospital and there where Japanese freighter come to interview him and they don't even believe what Pi has said.

1. What does the title mean relation to the film as a whole?
answer:
           The title's relation to the film is that life of Pi shows the real adventure of his life, challenges that occur, hopes that makes him strong and faith that makes him alive there where the things the he encounter just to survive.

2.Among the Characters, to whom can you relate to?
answer:
         I can relate myself to Pi, Because I am the person which has a strong determination in life willing to take risk just to get/protect the life that God gave me.

3.Which part of the presentation struck you the most?why?
 answer:
           The part that the movie struck me most is when the time that he keeps on remembering his family he can see the faces of his family at the deep ocean. He was so tired but when he see his family he gained more strength to it.

4. What is the movie's message?
answer:
            The movies message is that don't lose hope everything happens is for a reason, continue to be good to others and challenges is the best partner of a success.

5. Did I like this in general?why?
 answer:
           Yes, I like this movie because this movie somewhat represent to my own life, struggle for something that can makes me feel happy, surviving for the challenges in life and protecting the things that somewhat important to me and to my family.
6. Did I agree with the main theme/purpose?why or why not?
answer:
           yes I agree with the purpose of this movie because it really shows how important is the life for us.
          
7. what specifically did I like/dis like?why?
answer:
          I like the chapter of his life that he was hallucinated that he can  see the floating island and eat there and see the beauty of that particular island which also have meerkats  and a carnivore plants.they collect food for the time that they will travel and go to the next island.

8. are there any aspect of the theme which are left ambiguous at the end?why?
 answer:
           No, Because all the situation that what we have shown was all stated clear.   

9. How does this film relate to the things that are happening in your life?
answer: 
           I can relate this film to my own life because even i have all but still there always challenges arise that make me feel down but with it i faced it with strong determination and full hopes that i can really solve those problems in life.
